| Points will be issued for each hour worked and
begin to accrue on the first day of work. Employees are eligible to
redeem points after working 650 hours. The IRS considers the value of
awards given to employees as supplemental earnings to the recipient. As
such, the value of the award is subject to Income, Social Security and
Medicare tax withholding.
The value of the award will be added to the recipient’s taxable income and the applicable taxes withheld in the pay period following the redemption. Points will continue to accumulate, and may be redeemed as long as an individual is a continuous employee of the Aureus Medical Group. Continuous employment is defined as follows: 1. The recipient must be an active employee in good standing and currently on assignment. 2. The recipient must be scheduled to work the week following redemption activity. 3. There is no gap in employment with Aureus of greater than 16 weeks. Purchases made through the Golden Rewards program are non-refundable. |
